How to measure a garment to ensure the perfect fit!

At Sol Alpaca, your satisfaction is our priority. This guide will help you measure our garments correctly so they fit you perfectly.

Before you start:

  1. Place a garment that fits you well, or that has the fit you want for the garment you are going to purchase, on a flat surface such as a table or bed. If the garment is not completely laid flat, the measurements may be inaccurate.
  2. Use a suitable measuring tape: it should be made of fabric or plastic, like the ones used by tailors and dressmakers.
  3. We recommend writing down your measurements so you have them readily available and don't have to take them again.

Sleeve Length

Lay the garment completely flat on a flat surface.

Measure the total length of the sleeve, from the shoulder seam to the desired cuff position, following a straight line.

Cuidados de prenda

Alpaca: Una fibra natural con un cuidado especial

La fibra de Alpaca es

  • Natural, antibacteriana, antimicrobiana y resistente al olor. Esto significa que tus prendas de Alpaca no necesitan ser lavadas con tanta frecuencia como otras prendas.
  • Delicada y sensible al calor y a la agitación. Un lavado inadecuado puede encoger y dañar la fibra.

Recomendamos estrictamente:

  • Lavado en seco: Es el método más seguro para mantener tus prendas de Alpaca en perfecto estado.

Almacenamiento:

  • Las polillas son el mayor enemigo de la Alpaca. Limpia la prenda antes de guardarla y utiliza lavanda o bolas antipolillas para protegerla.
  • Dobla la prenda en lugar de colgarla. Esto evitará que se estire y pierda su forma.
  • Utiliza materiales transpirables como cajas de camisas, fundas de almohada o bolsas de papel. Evita el plástico y las bolsas de tintorería.

Consejos adicionales:

  • Airea tu ropa de Alpaca con frecuencia.
  • Evita la exposición directa a la luz solar.
  • Si se mancha, limpia la mancha de inmediato con un paño húmedo.
